Year Two of the Grad Glow Up: Winnipeg, We’re Giving Away Two Unforgettable Graduations
Behind every grad cap is a story of late nights, early practices, and a whole lot of showing up. Those stories deserve a celebration, which is why we launched the Grad Glow Up Contest last year. It’s back for 2026, and this time we’re crowning two winners.
What the Grad Glow Up Contest Is All About
The Grad Glow Up is our annual send-off for Winnipeg’s graduating class. After a successful first year, we’re doubling the prize package to honour two grads instead of one.
Here’s what the winner receives:
- $1000 scholarship to be put toward post-secondary education
- Complete glow-up experience, including:
- Haircut & style
- Manicure & pedicure
- Brows & lashes
- Customized facial
- Professional make-up
- A luxury ride to safe grad for you and up to four of your friends.
- Professional photography prior to safe grad.
Nominating a Grad (Including Yourself)
Anyone can nominate. Grads can self-nominate, and parents, teachers, coaches, and mentors are especially encouraged to put a name forward.
Your nomination is a video under two minutes long. A heartfelt, phone-shot clip is perfect. Just tell us who they are and why they deserve this.
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Be a graduate of a Winnipeg high school (this contest is for high school grads only — not college or university graduates).
- Be able to travel to one of our two Visage locations (Visage Clinical Beauty / City Looks by Visage) to receive their services
- Be 18 years of age at the time of services, or have parental consent for services, photo release, and related contest activities if under 18.
- Follow at least one Visage account on Instagram, so we can easily reach out when winners are announced and share their glow-up moments with our community.
Your Turn, Winnipeg
Grads: put yourself forward. You’ve earned the applause.
Parents, teachers, coaches, and mentors: nominate the grad you know deserves this. It might be the push they didn’t know they needed.
Two Winnipeg grads are about to get a sendoff they’ll never forget. Make sure one of them is someone you love.
A Look Back: Our First Winner, Celeste Onipe
Last year’s winner was Celeste Onipe, a Gordon Bell High School graduate chosen as her school’s grad breakfast speaker and honoured with multiple scholarships, including the Celia Caetano Gomes Scholarship for citizenship, community service, sports, and academics.
What stood out most was how Celeste shows up when no one’s watching. She volunteers at local food banks and supports women-led initiatives that welcome new migrants to Winnipeg. Her service is quiet, steady, and changing lives.
Celeste set the bar for exactly the kind of grad this contest is made for.
